Frequently Asked Questions
- I have a question about music theory. Can I write you about it?
- Short answer: YES :)
- If you are a current student of mine (i.e. if you are taking one of my courses), I usually reply personally and/or direct you to the relevant sections in the courses.
- If you are not a student of mine.... well, what are you waiting for? :-) But seriously, please, write me your question anyway. You won't probably receive a personal answer (sorry, the volume of emails I receive is way too large...) but I do collect the questions I receive and I make videos or write articles with the answers. Several of the videos and articles on this website (not to mention the courses!) started as question asked via email.
- Do you give private lessons?
- Yes, I do give 1-on-1 lessons to a few motivated musicians. Click here for Private 1-On-1 Music Theory Instruction
- But don't forget that I have some guitar theory courses too, and these are the option I recommend for most people.

- I am a beginner in music theory and I do not know where to start.

- I don't know what course to choose
- I can definitely advise you. I need to know a little bit more about you to give you a meaningful answer. Write me an email with the answer to these questions:
- What style/styles of music are you interested in?
- Are you interested more in lead guitar or rhythm guitar?
- What is something that you find easy to play on guitar?
- What is something that you find hard to play on guitar, but you still manage to play?

- I want to take both courses. What course should I start with?
- My usual advice if you are interested in both courses is to take them both together :-) I have several students doing this and there are several advantages in taking the courses at the same time:
- The two courses complement each other nicely, so taking them both in parallel reinforces your learning.
- You can alternate practicing lead and practicing rhythm. Most people find the variety stimulating. Also, you will never have to wonder if 'starting with the other course would have been better'.
- I have discounted options if you take both courses at the same time:

- How do I access my course sessions?
- When you purchase a course you will create an account. The you can log in with your email and password here: Members Login
- Can I stop my subscription anytime or I am committing to a lifetime of payments?
- Yes, you can stop anytime (you control your subscription from your account). Not only that: you keep access to the sessions you got so far even after you stop. And if in future you restart your subscription you pick the course up from where you left.
- Can I see sessions again or they do expire after a month?
- Yes, you can see the sessions how many times you want, whenever you want. Once a session is in your account there is no limitation on how many times you can see it, and it does not expire.
- If I stop my subscription, do I still have access to my sessions?
- Yes
- Can I change schedule from Silver to Gold or vice versa?
- Yes, of course. You are in complete control of your session's schedule and you can change schedule anytime you want.
