guitar finger independence

Can you move the fingers on your fretting hand independently from one another? And can you do it while keeping the other fingers relaxed?

When playing an instrument like the guitar, being able to control each finger independently is one of the most basic and necessary skills - and also one of the most neglected ones.

I can see why many guitar players don't work on their finger independence: they think that their hands are clumsy, so they feel bad about it. The more they feel bad, the less they work on it. The less the work on it, the more this becomes a problem, which makes them feel bad!

Luckily, we can easily break this vicious circle with a few super-effective exercises that actually make the difference. You can learn them in literally 5 minutes by watching this video

Do you have any other super-efficient exercises for finger independence like the ones in the video? Share them in the comments, the more the better!
