(I'm writing this email while wearing a jacket, earmuffs, and gloves. We are having a cold snap here in Alberta, and the temperature is -40. Celsius or Fahrenheit, you will ask? It doesn't matter: -40C = -40F. Anyway, it's d*%n cold in both scales. All the typos in this emails are because of me wearing gloves...)
Yes, you read that email subject correctly, Visitor. Join me for a live training session (completely free) on Saturday, January 20th, 2024 - details below.
What are we going to train on? This: Memorize Your Guitar Fretboard In Just 5 Minutes Per Day
See, the vast vast vast majority of guitar players never learn their fretboard. They are just content of playing "by the numbers" (literally by the numbers: "now I'm playing the G string on fret 10...")
Of course the vast vast vast majority of guitar players also suck horribly at guitar find themselves challenged in learning songs, improvising, composing new music, and generally learning anything on the guitar fretboard.
That's because their fretboard knowledge is dull. What do I mean?
Abraham Lincoln was quoted as saying "Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the ax."
If your ax is dull, you can be the best lumberjack in the world, but you're going to have a hard time to take down that tree.
And if your fretboard knowledge is dull, then everything you do on guitar will feel much much harder than it actually is.
So I'm going to do my little part to remedy that - with my system to learn the fretboard that you can apply regardless of how advanced or beginner you are. (I teach this to complete beginners, and I am still using it myself whenever I learn new things on the fretboard)
Make no mistake, there's nothing "theoretical" about that. At this session, you will need your guitar, and you will find yourself playing and writing for the whole session.
And by the end of the session... you will see a difference - I mean literally you will *see* the fretboard differently.
Incidentally, just earlier this week, a subscriber forwarded me an email from another music teacher... that is marketing (part of) my system of learning the fretboard as his own. And selling it for good money too. I'm giving it to you at no cost, what about that?
"So where's the catch" you'll ask... because yes, there is a catch...
... and here it is: spots are limited for this live session. And you must book your spot here if you want to attend:
